Purpose of this website

This website presents a planned mobile app and allows visitors to sign up to be notified by email when it becomes available.

Further information

No commercial register number, trade licence or VAT ID (UID) exists at this time.

Launch offer terms

We plan to build this app. Signing up does not guarantee that it will be released or when. If we launch it, people who signed up before launch will receive a 40% discount on the purchase price (€2.99 instead of €4.99). The discount can be redeemed for 31 days after launch. If the app is never released, no discount applies and your data will be deleted as described in the privacy notice below.

1. Who is responsible

2. What data we collect

When you sign up for the launch notification we store:

When you visit this page, the hosting provider may process technical data such as your IP address in server logs to deliver the page and keep it secure.

We also count visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records which pages are viewed, how far visitors scroll, which buttons are clicked, the website or ad campaign a visit came from, the country, device type, browser, operating system and language, and the date and time. Your IP address is used only briefly to determine the country and to tell visits apart; it is not stored. We cannot identify you from this data and only look at aggregated numbers.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

We use your email address only to notify you once, when the app becomes available, and to send you the launch discount code described in the launch offer terms above. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Providing your email is voluntary. If you don't, you simply won't be notified.

We use Umami to find out how many visitors are interested in the app and which parts of this page work, so we can decide whether to build it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding demand for the app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Because Umami stores and reads nothing on your device, no consent is needed for it. You can object at any time by emailing us, or block it with any common content blocker.

4. Who receives your data

The signup form is provided by Google Forms, and responses are stored in Google Sheets, both services of Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. Google acts as our processor under its data processing terms. Because Google LLC is a US company, data may be transferred to the USA, which is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses.

When you submit the sign-up form, your browser sends your email address directly to Google's servers, and Google may process technical data such as your IP address and may set cookies. The same applies if you open the Google form through the link shown when sending fails. This happens only after you choose to submit or open the form.

Umami Cloud is provided by Umami Software, Inc. (USA), which processes the analytics data on our behalf as our processor. If data is processed in the USA, this is covered by standard contractual clauses. More information: umami.is/privacy.

This website itself is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google).

5. Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not store anything on your device. Our analytics tool, Umami, works without cookies (see sections 2 and 3).

The Google form is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies once you submit or open it (see section 4).

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your email address until we have sent the launch notification, until you withdraw your consent, or for 12 months after signup at the latest, whichever comes first. Then we delete it.

The aggregated analytics data in Umami contains no information that identifies you. We delete it at the latest 12 months after the end of this test.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by emailing dough-dial@proton.me. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

You also have the right to complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.

8. Automated decisions

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
